BECKLEY — Woodrow Wilson High School will host a six-week Spring Training baseball program for players in grades 1-8 from Jan. 13 -Feb. 17. Flying Eagles’ head coach Mark Daniel will direct the program in conjunction with Midwest Baseball Academy. Sessions are offered in advanced hitting and pitching at a cost of $99 for six weeks. CHEERLEADING

ATHENS — The annual Concord University Cheerleading Clinic will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Carter Center. The clinic is for individuals as well as squads, elementary through high school. Concord’s cheerleaders will present cheers, sideline chants, dance, jumps / tumbling, partner stunts and pyramids.
