MONTCALM — Rather than give up one of their 10 football games this season, the Montcalm Generals are about to embark on an “iron-man” schedule of three games in a seven-day stretch.

After playing their first home game on Friday night, a 26-6 loss to a tough Hurley squad, the Generals are slated to play the Craig County Rockets on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in New Castle, Va., followed by a regularly-scheduled road game at Van High in Boone County this Friday.
