A six-week probe into the deaths of five Greenbrier County children and an adult woman, identified as Oreanna Antoinette Myers, all of whose remains were found in and around their burned home in December culminated this week with the public confirmation of what had long been whispered in the community. 

After the discovery of a second homicide victim in the same remote area of Greenbrier County, Sheriff Bruce Sloan hedged when asked if the deaths might be the work of a serial killer.

A 14-year-old girl is safe with deputies and two men are in custody after they were located in the Neola area of Greenbrier County Thursday evening.
