My letter is in the form of a question that will probably not be answered. Why should two of the finest football teams in southern West Virginia have to travel all the way (577 miles) to Wheeling to have a playoff game?

We, in Bluefield, have one of the finest, if not the finest, football stadiums in and around the state of West Virginia.

My family and I have been to Wheeling twice, and I have seen loaded school buses, cars, vans and other vehicles loaded down with families, friends and fans traveling all the way to Wheeling to play a football game that could be played right here in Bluefield.

Would someone please tell me why we have to put that many people on a dangerous highway for that distance to play a football game that could be played right here in our own area? Not to mention the great parking area that we have here compared to most.
