Here we go again. Same story over and over. Gasoline dealers around Bluefield have raised their gas prices to be in line with the top range in the country when oil prices go up.

But when oil prices come down, the dealers around Bluefield keep their prices higher.

I am not against anyone making a profit, but you can travel within 30 miles east, west or south of Bluefield and pay $1.95 per gallon or less. Why should we have to pay the current Bluefield price of $2.10 per gallon?

Last week, some of the gas prices I saw were Claypool Hill $1.98, Abingdon $1.92, Wytheville $1.94 and Narrows $1.91.

This area needs to get in line.
