TAZEWELL, Va. — After a native American prayer thanking the creator for the use of the land, visitors ventured into the Crab Orchard Corn Maze off U.S. Route 460 Thursday.
Located across the highway from the Crab Orchard Museum, visitors can try the .3 mile mini corn maze or the longer and more challenging 1.5 mile maze.
Pam Meade, executive director of the Tazewell County Chamber of Commerce, walked through the smaller maze.
“I like it. It was a lot of fun,” she said. “I want to come back and do the big maze some Saturday. I might bring a Boy Scout with me.”
The maze is open Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. till dark, and Sundays from 1 p.m. until dark.
