Community Foundation awards grants to the Town of Bluefield, Va.

The Community Foundation of the Virginias recently awarded the Town of Bluefield, Virginia a grant of $7,150 to build fencing and install benches at the African-American section of the Town’s Maple Hill Cemetery. The Foundation also awarded the $20,000 to purchase a new ornamental Christmas tree to replace the 10-year-old tree in the Town’s holiday decorations.
