PRINCETON — Authorities responded to a fully engulfed recreational vehicle fire on exit 9 near Princeton Friday night.
The incident was reported around 10 p.m. It occurred at the intersection of U.S. Route 460 and Interstate 77.
By 10:30 p.m., the fire was reported to be under control, Tim Farley, director of the Mercer County Office of Emergency Management, said. Farley said he was unaware of any injuries reported in the incident.
“The RV had some racing fuel on board,” Farley said. “It is much more volatile.”
The East River Volunteer Fire Department, Oakvale Fire Department and Mercer County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.
