BAPTIST VALLEY, Va. — Mr. Curtis Ray Stacey, age 66, of Baptist Valley, Va., passed away Saturday, November 3, 2007 in a Roanoke, Va. hospital.

He was born in Bandy, Va. and was the son of the late Fred and Victoria Stiltner Stacey. He was a truck driver and former employee for the State of Virginia. He had previously lived 40 years in Pinetown, N.C.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers.

Survivors include: Sisters: Ruth Altizer and husband J.C. of Baptist Valley, Va., Virginia Dehart of Fredericksburg, Va., Virgie Woody and husband Alfred of Richmond, Va., Carol Grimsley and husband Eddie of Edgewood, Md.; brothers: Fred Stacey and wife Gloria of New Jersey, David Stacey of Danville, Va.

Funeral Services for Mr. Curtis Ray Stacey will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Va. Internment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Va. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday (today), November 6 from 6 – 9 p.m.
