FREEMAN — Dorothy Alice White, age 51, of Coaldale Mountain, Freeman, WV, died on Friday, March 14, 2008 at the UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, Va.
Born on July 30, 1956 in Bluefield, she was the daughter of Dorothy Farrington Dunford of Bramwell and the late James David Dunford. She had been a resident of Freeman for most of her life.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael White; a daughter, Melissa Larson; and a brother, Howard Dunford.
Survivors include one daughter Christina White Vincent and husband, Kevin of Coaldale; two sons, Michael White of Bramwell and Kevin Farmer of Coaldale; five grandchildren, Tiffany Kayla, Brittany, Kristin, and Jamie Larson; two brothers, Billy Dunford of Bramwell and James Dunford of Coopers; three sisters, Janice Neace of Abbs Valley, Va., Connie Horton of Duhring, and Joyce Dunford of Bramwell.
Friends may call (today) Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
