RICH CREEK, Va. — Bonnie Mae Hall, 54, of 102 Coburn Lane, Rich Creek, Va., a former resident of Oakvale, died Sunday, November 11, 2007 at her residence following an illness of several months.

Born November 30, 1952 in Mercer County, Bonnie was the daughter of the late John and Mabel Marie Wiley Wright. Bonnie was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Oakvale and was an active employee of the Celanese Corporation for 33 years before having to take a medical leave for declining health. Bonnie was a lifelong resident of the Oakvale area before moving to Rich Creek and was a graduate of Oakvale High School.

Survivors include her twin son and daughter, Shawn D. Hall of Atlanta, Ga. and Wendy Gail Hodges of Pearisburg, Va. Additional survivors include her granddaughter, who made her home with Bonnie, Jordan Hall, whom Bonnie loved and was raising as her own. One brother, Lee Wright, Radford, Va. and her special cousin, whom she loved like a sister, Tootie Ann Burton and her daughter, Diane Tate, both of Rich Creek, Va. Also, surviving is her extended family of co-workers at the Celanese Corporation, who have supported her and been at her side through her illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from the Faith Baptist Church at Oakvale with Pastor Terry Lambert and Pastor Buck Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at the Elgood Cemetery, Elgood. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call at the Faith Baptist Church today (Tuesday), November 13, 2007 from 6-8 p.m.
