Associated Press

CLARKSBURG — A grand jury will consider charges against a man accused of killing four people in Clarksburg.

Media outlets report that Harrison County Magistrate Frank DeMarco found probable cause to move the case forward on Monday. The case will be presented to a grand jury.

Twenty-seven-year-old Sidney Muller of Fairmont is charged with four counts of first-degree murder. He’s accused of fatally shooting 29-year-old Todd Russell Amos, 26-year-old Christopher Hart, 70-year-old Fred Swiger and his son, 47-year-old Freddie Swiger.

Police say the Swigers were bystanders who were delivering newspapers. They were shot outside Hart’s apartment, while Hart and Amos were shot inside the residence.

Police say the July 26 shootings were drug-related.
