3 NY residents charged in Va. sex-slave case

NORFOLK, Va. — Three New York residents are charged in Virginia with trying to sell sex slaves on the Internet.

A federal grand jury in Norfolk indicted 20-year-old Prince Lee, 21-year-old Henry Olson and 21-year-old Arielle Pierre on charges of conspiracy, transportation for prostitution, and coercion and enticement.

The indictment unsealed Friday says Lee and a woman posted an ad on craigslist.com offering to sell the woman as a “sex slave” for $10,000. Virginia Beach police monitoring the website contacted the pair, who agreed to sell three women for about $225,000. The defendants recruited two women to spend a few hours with the undercover officer. The women were not told they were being sold.

A meeting was arranged, and the three were arrested.

Court records do not list attorneys for the three.
