Former President Bill Clinton campaigns for McAuliffe at Virginia Tech

BLACKSBURG, Va.— —  Democrat Terry McAuliffe is scheduled to join his longtime friend and former President Bill Clinton for a campaign rally this afternoon on the campus of Virginia Tech.

McAuliffe is being challanged by Repulican Ken Cuccinelli in Virginia’s closely watched Nov. 5 gubernatorial contest.

Clinton and McAuliffe have scheduled a number of stops across the state today and for later this week. The two are scheduled to take the stage at Owens Hall at Virginia Tech around 2 p.m. this afternoon.

Despite the arrival of a former president on campus, it was largely a normal monday morning for students at Virginia Tech.
