The FBI and Prince William County police are offering $11,000 in rewards for information to solve last month’s slaying at a Latin grocery in Woodbridge.
Police previously released video surveillance showing three men in dark clothing, their faces covered, entering and quickly exiting the Platanillos Grocery and Jewelry the night of Feb. 21.
Police say the assailants shot and killed a store employee, Glenda Marisol Coca-Romero. A second woman who also worked at the store was shot and wounded. No property or money was taken.
At a press conference Wednesday in Manassas, the FBI — which is assisting the investigation — announced it is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Prince William police are also offering a $1,000 reward through their Crime Solvers program.
