3 students, driver injured in Va. bus crash

HONAKER, Va. — A school bus crash in Russell County has injured three students and the bus driver.

Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller says the bus crashed around 7:30 a.m. Monday on Honaker’s Chapel Road.

There were 10 students on the bus at the time. Three students and the driver suffered minor injuries.

A telephone message with school officials was not immediately returned.

No further details were immediately available.
