RICHMOND, Va. —  A customer service center is bringing 500 jobs to Henrico County.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced Wednesday that Teleperformance is establishing the service center, the second in the state for the company. The governor’s office says Teleperformance serves a global customer base with technical support, customer acquisition and debt collection programs.

The company employs 149,000 people in 46 countries. In the U.S., it operates 25 locations and has 20,000 workers.

A news release did not say when the jobs would be created.
