Ex-therapist in Va. sentenced for sex crimes

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. —  A former licensed therapist convicted of sex crimes involving patients will spend 13 years in prison.

Scott Gordon Henry pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated sexual battery and indecent liberties with a child under 15.

The Free Lance-Star reports that the 67-year-old Henrico County resident was sentenced Tuesday in Caroline County Circuit Court to 52 years in prison, with all but 13 years suspended.

Henry formerly was a therapist with Rappahannock Area Community Services Board.

Five victims were children and two were adults with mental disabilities.
