Police: man tries to nab girl from Woodbridge home

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Police in Prince William County are looking for a man who tried to grab a sleeping 12-year-old girl through an open window at her Woodbridge home.

Police say they were called to the 1400 block of Horner Road at 3:17 a.m. Sunday. The homeowner reported that her daughter was asleep in her bedroom when she awoke to find an unknown man grabbing her through an open window. The girl screamed and the suspect fled on foot.

The girl was not injured and nothing was taken.
