Gunfire wounds 1-year-old, 7-month-old in Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. — Hampton police are investigating a shooting that injured a 1-year-old boy and a 7-month-old boy.

Media outlets report that the shooting occurred outside a residence around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say the children suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital.

A parked car and another house also were hit by gunfire.

Police are asking the public for help in identifying the shooter or shooters.
