WAYNESBORO, Va. — Police seeking a reserve Virginia police officer reported missing Saturday say they have arrested three siblings in connection with their continuing search.

Virginia State Police said at a news conference Wednesday in Charlottesville the three were arrested Tuesday night in Alexandria. Two were charged with the theft of Waynesboro Police Capt. Kevin Wayne Quick’s vehicle, which was found abandoned in Louisa County. The third sibling was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

All three are from Albemarle County.

A state police spokeswoman said police have made significant progress in the search for the 45-year-old Quick.

A reward for Quick’s discovery has now reached $30,000.
