Another 3 suspects charged in Lynchburg slaying

LYNCHBURG, Va. — Police have charged three more suspects in the fatal shooting of a Lynchburg man.

Media outlets report that 18-year-old Marcus Banks, 20-year-old Chrisean Douglas Ford and a 16-year-old, all of Lynchburg, were arrested Monday.

The other suspects are 22-year-old April Renae Bateman of Lynchburg, another 16-year-old and a 17-year-old.

All six suspects are charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, shooting from an occupied vehicle and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

Police say 20-year-old Lawrence Giusto of Lynchburg was shot early Sunday morning. He died at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Family and friends held a vigil for Giusto on Monday night.
