Sheriff: 2 dead, 1 hurt in apparent murder-suicide

ALDIE, Va. — Loudoun County authorities say a husband and wife are dead and a third relative is injured after an apparent murder-suicide.

Sheriff Mike Chapman says deputies responding to reports of gunshots at the home on Eloquence Square in Aldie on Tuesday night found the bodies of the man and the woman. Chapman says two teenage children were uninjured, but their grandmother was shot in the arm and taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

The investigation is ongoing. Officials have not identified the man and woman.
