A Nepali man exacted the ultimate revenge by biting a snake that first bit him.
According to the Annapurna Post in Nepal, Mohamed Salmo Miya, 55, was bitten by a snake while working in a rice paddy. Miya then chased the snake through the rice paddy and upon capturing it bit the snake to death, MSNBC News reported.
Miya told reporters he could have beaten the snake to death “with a stick,” but chose to bite the snake to death because he was “angry.”
The snake was later identified as a common cobra. Miya was treated at the village health center and released. Officials said Miya will not be charged in the killing of the snake because the snake was not one of the many endangered species of reptiles living in the country.
