Two men use fake reality show to rob victims

INDIANA, Pa. — Two men are fighting robbery charges in Pennsylvania by claiming they were recording video footage for a new reality show titled “You Just Got Robbed.”

Police in Indiana, Pa. told the Associated Press that Randall Smith, 21, of Templehill, Md. and Artie Goodwine, 18, of Memphis, Tenn., were arrested around 1:20 a.m. Monday morning on robbery charges.

Both students at a nearby technical college, police said one of the men would put a victim into a headlock and take cash from their wallet while the other would record the incident on a cell phone camera. The men told police they were filming a reality show rather than robbing two subjects they took $20 from.

Smith was able to post bail though Goodwine remains in the Indiana County Jail. Police confiscated the cell phone the men were using to record the incident.
