BRISTOL, Tenn. —
Fans of NASCAR saw more than race cars last weekend when a naked man ran across a busy parking lot, according to msnbc.com. And that was before police found the raccoon.
Joshua Greene, 27, of Parkersburg, W.Va., was arrested for streaking through the lot off Route 394. Police chased Greene and caught him in a nearby neighborhood. When police found his car, they found Greene’s girlfriend and a raccoon.
Police told msnbc.com that they called the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency to take the animal into custody. They were told the girlfriend had rescued it from a park.
Greene faces charges of public intoxication, indecent exposure and possible extra charges from the wildlife agency, according to media reports.
