•  Lillian Marie Henry, 86, of Quail Valley Dr., Princeton, formerly of Kegley, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011 at Princeton Community Hospital. Arrangements were by Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.

•  Freda Darlene Mitchell, of Princeton, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 at GlenWood Park Retirement Village in Princeton. Arrangements were  by Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.

•  Richard W. “Skip” Shrewsberry, 61, of 216 Union Dr., Princeton, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011 at his residence. Arrangements were  by Seaver Funeral Home of Princeton.

•  Raymond W. Testino, 85, of Edgewood, Md., formerly of Princeton, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011 at Stella Maris Hospice Care in Timonium, Md. Arrangements were handled by Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home of Princeton.

•  Clifford Earl Wimmer, 86, of 404 Thornton Ave., Princeton, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 at his residence. Arrangements were by Seaver Funeral Home of Princeton.

Obituary

Fred “Buddy” Taylor

CRYSTAL SPRINGS, Fla. — Fred “Buddy” Taylor, 81, of Crystal River, Fla., died on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011 at HPH Hospice, Inverness, Fla. A native of Princeton, W.Va., he was born Dec. 17, 1929 to Abe and Lillian (Hammond) Taylor and moved to Citrus County nearly 23 years ago from Clearwater, Fla.

During Mr. Taylor’s working life, he enjoyed a career in the automotive industry which spanned 38 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Christian faith and loved to fish.

Buddy is survived by his wife of nearly 63 years, June Taylor of Crystal River, Fla.; son, Fred M. Taylor and wife Peggy of Roswell, Ga.; daughter, Pamela T. Cantley and husband Michael of Big Canoe, Ga.; and sister, Garnet Taylor of Ocala, Fla.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Taylor’s family suggests that those who wish  may make memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, to HPH Hospice, 3545 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, FL 34465.
