Running back Ahmad Bradshaw, tackle David Diehl and wide receiver Domenik Hixon were among six Giants held out of practice on Monday.
Bradshaw went to the locker room for X-rays on his neck during the second quarter of Sunday’s 41-34 win over Tampa Bay and was ruled out of the game just before halftime.
Diehl suffered an injury to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee on Sunday and might be the most questionable player for the Giants’ next game, against Carolina Thursday. Coach Tom Coughlin did not know how serious Diehl’s injury was when he spoke with the media in the afternoon.
Bradshaw was to have an MRI on his neck and Hixon was being evaluated for a concussion.
Cornerback Michael Coe (hamstring), receiver Hakeem Nicks (foot) and defensive end Adewale Ojomo (hamstring) also did not participate in the walkthrough workout in New York’s short week of practice. Cornerback Prince Amukamara (ankle) and linebacker Keith Rivers (hamstring) were limited. They were not active against the Buccaneers.
