BLUEFIELD CITY POLICE DEPT. — AUG. 14

NOISE DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a noise disturbance on College Avenue at 1:05 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and asked subjects to keep their noise level down.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Officers received reports of a suspicious person on Union Street at 1:40 a.m. Officers said the call was  unfounded.

UNWANTED PERSON: Officers received reports of an unwanted person on Dearborn Avenue at 3:44 a.m. and again at 4:03 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and separated both parties twice.

THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on Stadium Drive at 9:30 a.m. Officers filed a complaint report.

ABANDONED VEHICLE: Officers received reports of an abandoned vehicle at the entrance to Bluefield State College at 10:47 a.m. Officers reported the vehicle had run out of gas and the owner was getting gas.

INJURED ANIMAL: Officers received reports of an injured animal on Union Street at 12:54 p.m. Officers filed an animal control report regarding the sick raccoon.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Officers received reports of a suspicious person on Highland Avenue at 2:43 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

BURGLARY: Officers received reports of a burglary on Delaware Avenue at 4:36 p.m.  Officers filed an offense report.
