BLUEFIELD BLOTTERS

SEPT. 28

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a power line down on Bluefield Avenue at 5:28 a.m. Officers reported a single-vehicle hit and snapped the pole. Officers filed a crash report.

BURGLARY: Officers received reports of a burglary on Third Street at 6:29 a.m. Officers filed an offense report.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Thorn Street at 9:49 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and reported the owner did not wish to have police involvement.

DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on South Mercer Street at 1:20 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

TOBACCO: Officers received reports of a tobacco violation on West Cumberland Road at 1:36 p.m. Officers issued a citation.

UNWANTED PERSON: Officers received reports of an unwanted person on Greenbrier Street at 4:36 p.m. Officers transported the evicted individual from the area.

HARASSMENT: Officers received reports of harassment on Hill Avenue at 8:39 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on Bland Street at 11:08 p.m. Officers said the individuals claimed they were having “a car show” and advised them of their options.

FIGHT: Officers received reports of a fight on Bland Street at 11:37 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

SEPT. 29

DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on College Avenue at 1:09 a.m. Officers filed a complaint report.

FIGHT: Officers received reports of a fight on East Cumberland Road at 1:50 a.m. Officers filed an offense report.

NOISE DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of  a noise disturbance on Mulberry Street at 3:38 a.m. Officers filed an offense report and arrested one male subject and one female subject.

STRAY: Officers received reports of a stray animal on Clark Street at 9:50 a.m. Animal Control Officer Randall Thompson filed an animal control report and transported the animal to the Mercer County Animal Shelter.
