Sept. 14

UNDERAGE CONSUMPTION: Dep. A.M. Ballard, G.C. Paitsel, J.D. Gills, K.M. Saddler, Sgt. G.W. Woods, and Cpl. S.A. Sommers responded Club Minnaj in Kelleysville after learning a large party with many underage individuals was occurring. State Fire Marshall C. Vanatter was contacted a responded as well. During an inspection of the club, Vanatter located several violations of the fire code and advised the owner that the club needed to close immediately. As the individuals in the club began to leave, the officers checked their identification. Two did not have their identification and the officer noted that they were previously consuming an alcoholic beverage. Sixteen individuals were cited for underage possession.

Sept. 15

DWMA (MEASURABLE ALCOHOL UNDER 21); EXPIRED/NO OPERATORS; SPEEDING: Cpl. S.A. Sommers observed a vehicle traveling east on US 460 toward Ambrose Lane. The officer checked the speed of the vehicle which registered at 67 mph in a 55 mph zone. The officer initiated a traffic stop and approached the driver. The officer detected the male was nervous from his speech patterns and fluctuations in tone. The officer asked the male to exit and perform field sobriety tests. The results yielded 0.044. The officer noted the driver was under 21. Two juvenile males in the car were found to be intoxicated and were cited. The intoximeter yielded a result of 0.022 BAC for the driver. Derick Barlow, 18, of Bluefield was arrested.

BREAKING AND ENTERING; GRAND LARCENY: A male subject reported that his garage had been broken into three times and over $1,000 in items was missing.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A male subject in Woody's Mobile Home Park informed that his windshield had been broken.

Sept.16

DOMESTIC ASSAULT; DOMESTIC BATTERY: Sgt. G.W. Woods responded to Princeton Community Hospital about a victim of domestic abuse. The officer noted the female in question had injuries to her nose. The female informed that her boyfriend had “jerked” her from a chair and had beaten her up. The female further advised that the boyfriend had told her if she got a warrant then he would kill her family. The female was advised of her rights to file a domestic violence petition.

Sept. 17

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Dep. H.L. Walters responded to Mercer Mall Road in reference to an auto accident. The driver of the vehicle, located in the back of an ambulance, stated he had been run off the road by a truck. The officer noted that the male's eyes appeared lazy and his speech appeared slow. The officer observed wooden pillars lying on the ground consistent with the male running off the road way before hitting a utility pole. The male advised the officer that he was going through detoxification and admitted to taking methadone earlier that day. The male failed three field sobriety tests. He registered a 0.000 after being placed under arrest. Seth Wimmer, 24, of Princeton was arrested.

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: Dep. K.M. Saddler located a vehicle stolen from Horry County, S.C.

Sept. 20

GRAND LARCENY: A female near Bluefield reported that her car had been stolen.
