LEASH LAW: Animal Control Officer Randall Thompson reported an animal in violation of the leash law on Wheeling Avenue at 10:48 a.m. Thompson issued an animal control report and a leash law warning.

CHILD IN STREET: Officers received reports of a child on Hill Avenue at 1:44 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and reported the child’s grandmother had taken the child back inside.

THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft from a vehicle on East Cumberland Road at 2:40 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Princeton Avenue at 2:43 p.m. Officers filed a crash complaint report.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident on U.S. Route 460 eastbound at 3:34 p.m. Officers filed a crash complaint report.

DEC. 15

BREAKING AND ENTERING: Officers received reports of a breaking and entering on Hancock Street at 12:23 a.m. Officers filed an offense report.

BURGLARY: Officers received reports of a burglary on Vineyard Street at 12:25 a.m. Officers filed an offense report.

THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on College Avenue at 12:48 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Officers received reports of a suspicious person on Southview Drive at 10 a.m. Officers transported one male to Bluefield Regional Medical Center.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on North Mercer Street at 10:46 a.m. Officers reported both parties had left the scene of the accident before law enforcement arrived.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: Officers received reports of a suspicious vehicle on College Avenue at 10:53 a.m. Officers reported the vehicle was parked legally and the owner of the vehicle was moving furniture.

BREAKING AND ENTERING: Officers received reports of a breaking and entering on Ablemarle Street at 11:20 a.m. Officers filed an offense report.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Officers received reports of a suspicious person on Cumberland Road at 1:25 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.
