PRINCETON POLICE DEPARTMENT
ENTERING WITHOUT BREAKING; PETIT LARCENY: A male subject reported a tablet computer was missing from his residence on Princeton Avenue.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: A female subject reported that someone had entered a business on Main Street and nothing appeared to be missing.
SHOPLIFTING: Ptlm. J.S. Bish was working loss prevention detail at Grant's on East Main Street. He observed a female subject allegedly take a container of blackberries from the shelf and eat them during her time in the store before returning the container to its location. The female then attempted to check out. The officer escorted the female to the office where she denied the officer's account. She advised that she had taken blackberries and placed them in a container that she had paid for. Cathy Sigmon, 50, of Rock, was cited.
PETIT LARCENY: A female reported her radio was stolen from her car on Reynolds Avenue.
BATTERY: A male subject reported to Sgt. D.B. Whited that he was assaulted at his workplace. The male subject further advised that his boss had slammed him up against a wall during an argument and told him he was fired. The officer spoke to the boss who advised he had slammed the male against the wall to stop alleged aggressive behavior. Warrants may be pending.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A female subject reported the back window of her home on Lower Pine Street was damaged with a golf ball.
PETIT LARCENY: A female reported several items were stolen from her boyfriend's truck parked in front of her residence on McKinley Avenue.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: A male subject advised several items were stolen from his business on Grape Street.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A female reported that her vehicle was damaged while parked at Grant's Supermarket on East Main Street.
PETIT LARCENY; DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A male subject reported someone had stolen his radio and ignition lock from his vehicle parked on Bee Street.
SHOPLIFTING: Lt. B.R. Woodard responded to Dollar General located on Mercer Street in reference to a shoplifter. An employee advised a female had placed several bottles of pills in her pocket. The officer located three bottles of pills and a bag of dog treats on the female's person. Donna Martin, 49, of Princeton, was cited.
FRAUDULENT DISPOSITION OF RENTAL PROPERTY: Management at Aaron's advised that a male subject had not paid for items rented on May, 15. Warrants are pending.
