McDowell County Grand Jury

WELCH — WELCH — A number of indictments were recently returned by the McDowell County grand jury, according to Prosecuting Attorney Ed Kornish.

The indictments include:

• Brian Matthew Bailey, 34, Princeton, transferring and receiving stolen property.

• Erik Monroe Brown, 33, Havaco, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I controlled substance.

• Melanie Campbell, 39, Hanover, forgery, four counts; uttering, four counts;  fraudulent schemes.  

• Thomas G. Cook Jr., 44, Raysal, domestic assault or battery (third  offense).

• Thomas Cook Jr., 44, Raysal, unlawful wounding, conspiracy and domestic assault or battery, (third offense).

• Stephanie Cook, 20, Raysal, unlawful wounding, conspiracy, domestic battery, (third offense).

• Lance Copley, 23, Northfork, grand larceny by receiving stolen property.

• Lance Copley, 23, Northfork, nighttime burglary by breaking and entering, conspiracy.

• Robert Thomas, 38, nighttime burglary by breaking and entering, conspiracy.

• John Cuthbert, 51, Bradshaw, driving revoked for DUI, (third offense).
