June 27

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Ptlm. E.D. Leftwich responded to a report of domestic battery. A male subject stated he had pushed his girlfriend upon the officer’s arrival. The female subject stated she was trying to leave the residence with her two children and the male subject pushed both her and her grandmother to the ground forcefully when her grandmother tried to get in between the two of them during an argument. The female subject then stated the male subject pushed her to the ground a second time. Phillip Butner, 25, of Princeton was arrested.

FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE, CITY CAPIAS-FAILURE TO APPEAR: Carolyn Podmajerski, 24, of Princeton, and Jack Goode, 44, of Princeton, were arrested on outstanding warrants.

FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE, PROBATION VIOLATION, CREDIT CARD THEFT: Officers received a call in reference to a fugitive from justice. James Prince, 24, of Princeton, was arrested on outstanding warrants.

June 30

FAILURE TO APPEAR FOR DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Travis Powell, 20, of Princeton, turned himself in on charges.

FAILURE TO APPEAR, DRIVING REVOKED FOR DUI FIRST OFFENSE: During a traffic stop officer D.B. Morey learned the driver of the vehicle had a warrant. Shane Whitaker, 34, of Princeton, was arrested.

FLEEING IN A VEHICLE: Sgt. J.D. Halsey observed a vehicle speeding and attempted to stop the vehicle. The driver did not stop for the officer and the officer was advised by citizens the vehicle had continued to the dead end of Hatcher Street. The officer then located the vehicle and saw the driver sitting on the front porch of a house. The male driver allegedly admitted to fleeing from the officer because he got into an argument with a family member. Travis Degraw, 22, of Princeton, was arrested.

July 1

DUI FIRST OFFENSE: Officer J.E. Carroll observed a vehicle swerving back and forth in his lane. The officer performed a traffic stop and noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the male driver. The officer asked the driver to perform standard field sobriety tests upon which the driver allegedly showed impairment. John Jessee, 38, of Princeton, was arrested.

FAILURE TO APPEAR: Brandon Farley, 28, of Princeton, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
