MARCH 29

FIGHT: Officers received reports of a fight on Ramsey Street at 1:39 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

ABANDONED VEHICLE: Officers received reports of an abandoned vehicle on Highland Avenue at 9:29 a.m. Officers reported the vehicle had proper registration and advised complainants of their options.

LOOSE PIT BULL: Officers received reports of a loose pit bull on Norfolk Street at 9:48 a.m. Officers filed an animal control report, picked up one pit bull and transported the dog to the Mercer County Animal Shelter.

THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on Stadium Drive at 10:05 a.m. Officers reported the incident was not a theft and advised the complainant to seek the services of a magistrate.

THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft from a vehicle on Grassy Branch Road at 11:24 a.m. Officers filed an offense report.

FAILURE TO CONFINE: Officers received reports of a pit bull not confined under the specifications of city ordinances on Marellen Avenue at 12:30 p.m. Officers filed an animal control report and gave the owner notice to appear in court.

HARASSMENT: Officers received reports of harassment on Southview Drive at 12:30 p.m. Officers filed an offense report.

DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on Bluefield Avenue at 3:20 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

FOUR WHEELERS: Officers received reports of four wheelers on Carey Street at 4:24 p.m. Officers found one ATV parked in a driveway and advised complainants of their options.

ILLEGAL PARKING: Officers received reports of illegal parking on Ronceverte Street at 7:42 p.m. Officers issued a citation and 24-hour tow notice.

THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft from a vehicle on East Cumberland Road at 8:09 p.m. Officers filed an offense report.

BURGLARY: Officers received reports of a burglary on Walton Avenue at 11:05 p.m. Officers reported the scratch under the dead bolt was not recent and advised complainants of their options.



MARCH 30

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Officers received reports of a suspicious person on Balsam Street at 2:12 p.m. Officers filed an offense report and arrested one male subject.

DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on Heatherwood Road at 7:55 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

STRAY: Officers received reports of a stray animal on Maryland Avenue at 3:46 p.m. Officers filed an animal control report and turned in one stray dog to the Mercer County Animal Shelter.

FOUR WHEELERS: Officers received reports of four wheelers on Old Bramwell Road at 4:56 p.m. Officers reported the four wheelers were out of the city limits and advised complainants of their options.

POSSIBLE DRUG ACTIVITY: Officers received reports of possible drug activity on Princeton Avenue at 8:40 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

FRAUD: Officers received reports of fraud on Edgewood Road at 10:10 p.m. Officers advised the complainants to contact Craigslist and report the incident to them.



MARCH 31

DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on View Avenue at 1:07 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Big Laurel Highway/U.S. Route 460 at 3:09 a.m. Officers filed a crash report, filed an offense report and arrested one male subject.

FIGHT: Officers received reports of a fight on East Cumberland Road at 3:17 a.m. Officers separated the parties and advised them of their options.

LEAVING THE SCENE: Officers received reports of a vehicle leaving the scene of an accident on Ablemarle Street at 6:57 p.m. Officers filed a crash report.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: Officers received reports of a suspicious vehicle on John Nash Boulevard at 7:19 p.m. Officers reported the motorist was out of gas and gave the motorist a ride to the nearest gas station.
