SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Officers received reports of a suspicious person on College Avenue at 5:53 a.m. Officers reported the subject was being transported to Bluefield Regional Medical Center by Bluefield Rescue.

ILLEGAL PARKING: Officers received reports of illegal parking on Whitethorn Street at 1:43 p.m. Officers issued a warning citation.

HARASSMENT: Officers received reports of harassment on Princeton Avenue at 4:20 p.m. Officers reported the report was unfounded.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: Officers received reports of a theft from a vehicle on Old Bramwell Road at 5:14 p.m. Officers reported the complainant did not want a report and advised the complainant of their options.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Big Laurel Highway/U.S. Route 460 at 7:47 p.m. Officers filed a crash complaint report.



NOV. 17

ASSAULT: Officers received reports of an assault on East Cumberland Road at 2 a.m. Officers filed an offense report.

FIGHT: Officers received reports of a fight on Jones Street at 2:48 a.m. Officers filed an offense report and arrested one male subject

HARASSMENT: Officers received reports of harassment on Ramsey Street at 8:41 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

ILLEGAL PARKING: Officers received reports of illegal parking on Mountainview Avenue at 10:38 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

STRAY: Officers received reports of a stray animal on Tazewell Street at 10:44 a.m. Animal Control Officer Randall Thompson filed an animal control report and transported two dogs to the Mercer County Animal Shelter.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Officers received reports of destruction of property on Pearis Street at 3:04 p.m. Officers filed an offense report.

DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on Wyoming Street at 7:33 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options.

THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on Union Street at 8:15 p.m. Officers filed an offense report.



NOV. 18

DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on East Cumberland Road at 12:40 a.m. and at 1:02 a.m. Officers transported one subject from the residence.

VANDALISM: Officers received reports of vandalism to a vehicle on Union Street at 9:21 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and reported the complainants did not wish to file a report.

THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on Highland Avenue at 4:42 p.m. Officers reported the complainant refused a report after being advised of her options.

THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on Washington Street at 6:12 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and have a report pending.

THEFT: Officers received reports of a theft on Union Street at 10:09 a.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and reported the complainants did not wish to file a report.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Federal Street at 4:25 p.m. Officers filed a crash complaint report.

SHOPLIFTER: Officers received reports of a shoplifter on East Cumberland Road at 4:27 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and reported the store had to file a complaint through their corporate offices.

DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on Walton Avenue at 4:43 p.m. Officers advised complainants of their options and transported the juvenile subject home.

DISTURBANCE: Officers received reports of a disturbance on College Avenue at 6:06 p.m. Officers advised the children to stop playing in the road.

VANDALISM: Officers received reports of vandalism to a house on Augusta Street at 6:20 p.m. Officers reported the matter was a civil issue and advised the complainants to seek a magistrate.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Officers received reports of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on John Nash Boulevard at 6:44 p.m. Officers filed a crash complaint report.
