Dec. 13

BREAKING AND ENTERING; PETIT LARCENY: A male subject reported that someone had stolen several items from an outbuilding on Highland Avenue.

Dec. 14

ATTEMPT TO COMMIT A FELONY: A female reported that damage was done to a residence on Highland Avenue.

Dec. 15

PETIT LARCENY; DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A female reported that someone had broken a window on her car and had stolen her purse.

DOMESTIC BATTERY; MALICIOUS WOUNDING: A male subject advised his nephew had struck him several times with a piece of wood. Warrants are pending.

Dec. 16

BATTERY; FILING A FALSE POLICE REPORT: A male reported that he had been attacked by several males for no reason in the High Street area. The officer noted that the male was belligerent and needed more time to debate filing charges. The male later submitted a statement that contradicted the earlier facts.

Dec. 17

OBTAINING MONEY UNDER FALSE PRETENSES: A female reported that a male subject had called her to tell her that she won $5,000,000 in a contest in Las Vegas and to send $300 to get it. The female advised that she had sent $500 to get the prize mailed. This report would be forwarded to the detective bureau.

BURGLARY: A male subject reported someone had stolen a game system, two controllers and a video game.

SHOPLIFTING: Officers E.D. Leftwich and E.T. Pugh responded to Kroger’s on Stafford Drive. The officers were advised by store security that a female subject had attempted to take several items from the store. Nicole Phelps, 38, of Kegley, was cited.

BATTERY: A female reported that her daughter was attacked at Princeton Middle School. The case was forwarded to the juvenile authorities.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A male subject reported damage to his vehicle on Bell Street.

Dec. 19

COUNTERFEITING: A male subject reported that he had received a counterfeit bill.
