CAPIAS: Dep. J.D. Gills arrested Andrew Snow, 71, of Princeton, on a failure to appear warrant and a domestic violence petition.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Dep. E.P. Parks responded to Bane Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance that had already taken place. The officer spoke with the woman, who indicated she had argued with a man and that he had injured her shin. The wound she showed the officer allegedly appeared to be nearly healed, while she reported the dispute had occurred the day of the complaint. Parks reported the complaint was cleared due to the alleged victim's failure to cooperate.
DUI, DRIVING REVOKED, SIMPLE POSSESSION: Dep. J.R. Coburn conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 52 in Bluewell, after reportedly seeing a silver Buick traveling with a defective headlight. The officer reported smelling a strong odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle and marijuana coming from the driver. He allegedly told the officer he was drunk and had smoked marijuana earlier in the day. The driver, Larry Hawks, 29, of Rock, allegedly failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. A blood-alcohol test reported his blood-alcohol content to be 0.173, well over the legal limit.
Nov. 8
GRAND LARCENY: A Shady Spring man reported he parked his vehicle, a Chevrolet pick-up truck, at his friend's home in Egeria overnight. The man allegedly left the truck unlocked with the keys inside. When he woke up the next morning, the truck had been stolen. Dep. J.D. Ellison filed the report and noted that the owner located it over a hill the following day.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT: Dep. J.R. Coburn responded to a domestic disturbance on Golden Lane in Kegley. The alleged victim reported she and her husband had argued but that he had not hit her or their children. She told the officer she did fear for their safety due to his actions. James Brian Kestner, 38, of Kegley, was arrested.
Nov. 9
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Dep. J.D. Ellison responded to Danley Mobile Home Park on Low Gap Road. A male there was reported tearing up a residence and assaulting a female. The alleged victim reported her live-in boyfriend came home intoxicated and proceeded to choke her and ransack the residence. She refused emergency medical service but told the officer she did wish to pursue charges. Ellison advised her to contact him at the MCSD to proceed.
BREAKING AND ENTERING AUTO, PETIT LARCENY, DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Dep. W.E. Rose responded to New Life Tabernacle Road, where a woman reported she had parked in front of the church and entered the building before 6 p.m. When she left the church, she said she noticed her front passenger window had been busted and that her purse was missing. Her purse contained the offering from the church's morning service.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Dep. J.R. Coburn responded to a domestic complaint on Old Athens Road, where a woman reported her boyfriend choked her and slammed her against the wall. William Seal, 26, of Princeton, was arrested.
COUNTERFEITING: Dep. J.R. Coburn responded to Lotus Garden in Mercer Mall, where a complainant reported accepting a $50 bill from a black male she said was a regular customer. The officer attempted to locate the man but was not successful.
SHOPLIFTING: Cpl. J.J. Ruble filed a report from a complainant at the 7-11 in Kegley, who reported a white male entered the store and walked out with two cases of beer. He described the man as having brown hair and a goatee, a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a white hat. The officer searched the area but did not locate the suspect.

The altercation allegedly began over a work dispute, and the alleged victim reported customers and another manager were present at the time.
Nov. 11
PETIT LARCENY: A resident of Young's Mobile Home Park reported her grandson's bike had been stolen from its parking spot beside her porch. Neighbors reported seeing other juveniles riding on the chopper-style black bike with white flames. Dep. G.C. Paitsel investigated and reported he would attempt to locate the bike.
GRAND LARCENY: A Clines Country Road man reported his truck was stolen from his residence overnight. When the complainant and his wife searched the area for the vehicle, they allegedly found it about a half-mile from their home, wrecked. Sgt. G.W. Woods filed the report.
Nov. 12
BRANDISHING: Dep. E.P. Parks responded to Otter Place, where a neighbor dispute was reported. When the officer arrived, the complainant reported his neighbor ran over his dog on purpose. After the woman ran over the dog and continued to her home, her boyfriend allegedly threatened the complainant with a firearm. The neighbors, however, reported a completely different set of circumstances. The officer reported the female driver appeared upset over the dog, claiming she never saw the animal because her Bronco sat so high off the ground and the dog was small. She reported she apologized to the animal's owners and that they appeared in a threatening manner outside her home with sticks and a handgun. Parks reported that he advised all parties of the intake process.
