Vehicle Towed: Patrolman D.A. Lambert of the Bluefield Police Department cited an improperly stored vehicle on Preston Street at 11:21 a.m., on June 26. Lambert filed a towed vehicle report on the incident.



Two-Car Accident: Patrolman D.A. Lambert of the Bluefield Police Department investigated a two-vehicle accident on Maryland Avenue that was reported at 11:23 a.m., on June 26. Lambert filed a vehicle complaint report on the incident.



Rape Report: Police in Bluefield are investigating a rape that was reported on station at 1:30 p.m., on June 26. Patrolman D.A. Lambert of the Bluefield Police Department investigated the incident. The report was not immediately available.



Bank Robbery Suspect Stopped: In response to a police BOLO (Be On the Look Out), Cpl. J.T. Brooks of the Bluefield Police Department made a traffic stop of possible bank robbers on the Old Bramwell Road at 4:30 p.m., on June 26. Brooks arrested a male subject who was a passenger in the vehicle, but details of the arrest were not immediately available.



PotHole Hit: Patrolman J.D. Vance of the Bluefield Police Department investigated a report that a vehicle hit a pothole on Leatherwood Lane that was reported at 5:18 p.m., on June 26. Vance filed a vehicle complaint report on the matter.



Vandalism: Patrolman H.E. Naumann of the Bluefield Police Department investigated a report of vandalism on Thorn Street in Bluefield that was received at 7:05 p.m. on June 26. The disposition on the blotter was to increase patrols in the area.



BOLO Vehicle Recovered: Patrolman J.W. Murray of the Bluefield Police Department located a vehicle that had been the subject of an earlier Be On the Look Out report. Murray found the subject vehicle at 2:10 p.m., on June 27, recovered stolen property and had the vehicle towed.



Disturbing the Peace: Patrolman D.A. Lambert of the Bluefield Police Department investigated a report of Disturbing the Peace at a Bland Street business at 2:20 p.m., on June 27. Lambert arrested a female subject as a result of his investigation.



Vehicle Accident: Patrolmen J.D. Vance and H.E. Naumann responded at 6:07 p.m., on June 27, to a report of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Bland Street and College Avenue. The patrolmen filed a vehicle complaint report.



Noise: Lt. G.A. Ruth of the Bluefield Police Department responded to a report of a noise disturbance in the vicinity of Bland Street at Preston Street at 4:26 a.m., on June 28. Ruth asked the people present to go inside, and the crowd disbursed.



Vehicle Accident: Lt. G.A. Ruth, and Patrolmen H.E. Naumann and D.A. Lambert of the Bluefield Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at 5:17 a.m., June 28, at the intersection of Preston and Jordan streets. The officers filed a vehicle complaint report on the accident.
