Dwane Shrewsbury, 52, of Princeton, formerly of Lashmeet, passed peacefully into the arms of the angels Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at his home.
Born Oct. 14, 1960 in Princeton, he was the son of the late Mary Farmer Shrewsbury Mills and the only father he knew, Alva Mills. His father, Emerson Shrewsbury is location unknown.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Dwight Shrewsbury.
Survivors include one sister, with whom he made his home, Deborah Phillips and her husband Dewey of Princeton; two brothers, Teddy Mills and his wife Carlene and Roger Shrewsbury; step-sister, Deborah Mills; four nieces, Amanda Newcomb and her husband Tony, Heather Phillips and her fiancé T.J. Martin, Savana Mills and Katlyn Mills; two nephews, Coty Mills and Shane Mills and his wife Shelby; two great-nieces, Faith and Emma; a close sister-in-law, Sharon Shrewsbury and her son Roger Shrewsbury; and a close friend, Mike Jackson.
Honoring his request, Dwane was an organ donor and his body was cremated.
There will be no services at the funeral home.
