PRINCETON — Jackson Abrams Schafer, six months, of Mahood Avenue, Princeton, died suddenly Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at the Children and Women's Center of the CAMC Charleston. Born June 28, 2012 in Princeton, he was the son of Donald Robert Schafer and Laura Ashley Wright Schafer

In addition to his parents, he is survived by four sisters, Taryn, Cienna, Harley and Kayleigh Schafer; grandparents, Donald Carroll Schafer and Laura Mildred Carneal both of Baltimore, Md., and John T. and Regina Wright Jr. of Princeton; great-grandparents, John T. Wright Sr. of Princeton, and Glen and Ruby Corlew of Goldsboro, N.C.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

A gathering for Jackson will be held Saturday Jan. 5, 2013 at 5 p.m. from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with family friend Charlie Hampton doing the eulogy.

The family would appreciate so much that in lieu of flowers, gifts and donations be made to CAMC, Children and Women's Division, Fourth Floor, PICU Department, 800 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, WV.

The Schafer family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
