COUNCIL, Va. —
Mrs. Betty Ann Jones Robinette, age 77, of Council, Virginia, passed away Saturday (December 22, 2012). Born May 23, 1935 in Pocahontas, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Paul Jones and Kate Cline Jones Presley.
She had spent most of her life in the area and was a member of Duty Pentecostal Church and Council Senior Citizens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Robinette; her stepfather, Lace Presley; one sister, Ruth Tolbert; and one brother, Billy Jones.
Survivors include one son, Lacy Robinette and wife, Deboria of Council; two daughters, Deborah Robinette and Noah of Manassas and Donna Presley and husband, Terry of Council; three grandchildren, Caprina Johnson and husband, Randall of Vansant, Billy Earl Presley and Morgian Presley both of Council; one great-granddaughter, Savanah Johnson of Vansant; one brother, Ray Jones and wife, Barbara of Boissevain; two sisters, Wanda Nelson of Bakersfield, California and Louise Buggerman of Pocahontas; special caregivers, Phillip and Sandra Owens of Birchleaf.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Sunday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with the Rev. James Tiller officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday in Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel at Lebanon, Virginia. Entombment will follow.
Pallbearers will be the members of Duty Pentecostal Church.
