PRINCETON — PRINCETON —  Margaret Ruth Slater, 68, of Straley Avenue in Princeton, died Sunday, September 8, 2013 at her residence. Born January 17, 1945 in Bluefield she was the daughter of the late, Fredrick Leroy Frantz and Beulah Pruett Frantz. Margaret was a retired nurse's aide and of the Jehovah Witness faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry David Slater.

Survivors include one sister, Brenda Perry and husband, Chester of Staunton, Va. In keeping with Margaret's wishes her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2013 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with the Reverend Scott Sears officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour on Friday.
