Clyde Ralph Bailey

PRINCETON — Clyde Ralph Bailey, 64, of  Columbus Lane (Buckeye Hollow), Princeton went to be with his Lord and Savior peacefully Tuesday, November 5, 2013.

Born July 18, 1949, at Iaeger, he was the son of the late Elice Bailey and Martha Shrader Bailey.

Clyde was a retired coal miner having worked for Virginia Crews Coal Company with 28 years of service. He was a member of Harbor Light Church in Princeton.

He loved his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 siblings: Earl, Drew and Sharon Bailey.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Audrey Justice Bailey; two sons, Justin Bailey and wife Ashley of Bristol, TN, Nick Bailey and wife Jennifer of Princeton; two granddaughters, Brooklyn Bailey and Leah Faith Bailey. Four brothers, Edward Bailey of Welch, Flem and Diane Bailey, Lester Bailey, Johnny and Cathy Bailey all of Panther. Five sisters, Phyllis and Jesse Justice of Texas, Sue Bailey of Panther, Evelyn and Junior Bailey of Wytheville, VA, Cathy McFalls of Gastonia, NC, Joan and Brian Merrill of Dallas, NC.

He also loved his nieces and nephews whom he joked with on every visit.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 9, 2013 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastors Robert Lane and Rufus Shrader officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton.

Friends may visit with the family Friday, November 8, 2013 from 4:00 until 10:00 PM at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Junior Bailey, Brian Merrill, Mason Duncan, Paul Beasley, Brian Lockhart, Nicholas Bailey and Justin Bailey.

In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to the American Cancer Society, 921 W. Neville Street, Beckley, WV  25801.

The Bailey family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory & Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
