PRINCETON — PRINCETON — Beatrice L. Childers, 92, of 1924 Glenwood Park Road, Princeton formerly of the Mt. Horeb Road, died early Sunday morning, November 3, 2013 at her residence.

Born October 14, 1921, at Tuscaloosa, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late, James Madison Lancaster and Josephine Avery Lancaster.

For many years, Ms. Childers worked as a Legal secretary and served as an Administrative Assistant in the Insurance industry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Childers; along with two siblings; James Lancaster and Gloria Grevert

Survivors include her son, Walton John McHale of Mt. Dora, Fla.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In honoring Ms. Childers wishes, she will be cremated and a time of sharing and gathering will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton.
