BRISTOL, Tenn. —
BRISTOL, Tenn. — Justin Allen (Big Al) Barbour, age 68 of Bristol, Tenn., formerly of Richlands, Va., passed away, Sunday, November 10, 2013. Born January 26, 1945 in Russell County, Va. he was the son of the late, Orville and Love Snead Barbour. He was formerly employed with Singleton Funeral Service, Clinch Valley Hospital Security, Southwest Security and Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office. He was a former member of the Richlands Fire Department and Richlands Rescue Squad. He was an avid fisherman and football fan. He attended Holy Church of Truth at Bristol, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sena Olivia Barbour; one sister, Marie Nuckels; three brothers, Jake Barbour, Joe Barbour and Pal Barbour; one niece, Vickie Street; and one nephew, Skip Nuckels.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Delores (Dee) Patrick Barbour; one son who was the joy of his life, Justin Aaron Barbour and wife, Amy of Bristol, Tenn.; one sister, Faye Street and husband, Ralph of Vansant, Va.; two step-grandchildren, Cody France and Kendall France; mother and father-in-law, Lora Gay and Jessee Justice of Pounding Mill, Va.; several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law; and his granddog, C.J.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Va. with the Reverend Perry Hawkins and Mr. Roger Street officiating. The family will receive friends after 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
