CANTON, Ohio — Richard A. Fletcher, age 62 of Canton, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014 following a short illness. He was born on May 10, 1951 in Princeton, WV and was the son Carl and Ruth (Mann) Fletcher, who preceded him in death.

Richard lived with Siffrin Group Homes and worked at the Stark County Sheltered Workshops. He was a member of the Exceptional Class at the Canton Baptist Temple.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his special aunt, Glenna Mann.

He is survived by his sister, Margaret “Marge” Fletcher of Lodi, Ohio, his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Debbie Fletcher, Plano, Texas, many aunts, uncles and cousins and the Siffrin Group Home managers, Chris and Angie.

The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon, Ohio on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. Additional visitation will take place at the chapel at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Princeton, WV on Friday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. with a service at 2:00 P.M.
