MONTCALM — Daralynn Marie Cook, 22 month old, of Montcalm, formerly of Elgood, received her angel wings on March 5, 2014, following an automobile accident in Brushfork.
Born April 27, 2012, in Princeton, she was the daughter of Terri Ann “Tara” Blankenship Wright and Ernest Craig Cook. During her short time here on Earth, Daralynn touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ernest Cook Jr.; and great-grandparents, Don and Linda Whittaker and Thomas Booth. She was accompanied in death by her sister, Madison Jade Tiller.
Daralynn is survived by her mommy, Terri Ann “Tara” Blankenship Wright and fiancé, Richard Tiller of Montcalm; her daddy, Ernest Craig Cook and fiancé, Kayla Hazelwood of Elgood; three brothers, Bradley Cook of Elgood, Dalton Tiller and Hunter Tiller, both of Montcalm; one sister, Hayley Cook of Elgood; maternal grandparents, Joe and Charlotte Blankenship of Elgood; paternal grandmother, Shirley Cook of Elgood; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; one special cousin, Kari Ann Cole whom loved and babysat Daralynn.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 14, 2014, at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with the Reverend Charlie Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Staffordsville, Va. Pallbearers will be Austin Edwards, Richard Edwards, Bubby Blankenship, and William Gusler. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the service hour Friday at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton.
