PRINCETON — Born July 23, 1968 in Elkton, MD he was the son of F.L. Scarberry of Princeton and the late Martha Ford Scarberry.

Rodney spent his time caring for his father at their home. When he had free time he spent it at his favorite fishing hole or watching professional wrestling. Rodney was devoted to his family and friends and his smile and laughter will be missed by so many. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Amy M. Scarberry.

Additional survivors include his brother, Mark H. Scarberry of New Castle, DE; two sisters, Maryann Smith and husband Gerald T. of Chesapeake City, MD and Kimberly Allison and husband James of New Castle, DE. Rodney is also survived by his nieces, Angie Scarberry, Erin Cooper, Jordin Smith, and Katherine Smith; one nephew, F.L. Jacob Scarberry. He was also blessed with four great nephews.

In keeping with Rodney's wishes his body has been cremated. Private services will be conducted at a later date.
